 Dear Parents,

 

Bogue Sound Elementary is proud to present our Courageous Cougar Club.   All 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th grade students are eligible to be members.  Membership affords students the opportunity to participate in an activity arranged during the school day at the end of the 9 week period. 

 

Activities may include, but are not limited to, roller skating, bowling, mini golf, laser tag or a movie.  Membership will be based on attendance, grades, conduct, and Accelerated Reader points.   Bonus Points will be awarded for homework completion.   During each 9 week period, students must strive to earn a minimum of 18 points.

The Courageous Cougar Club is a rewards based club for students in 3^rd through 5^th grades.

 

How do I qualify?         Earn 18 points for the nine weeks.

Accelerated Reader:     5 points                 Goal Met with 90% accuracy

* Automatic disqualification from the trip if a student is given ISS/OSS,

 or a Bus Suspension.

** Two discipline referrals to the office during a nine week period resulting in

consequences, will mean a conduct grade of “N” for the nine weeks.
